Tank started leaking just before warranty ended

Tank started leaking one year after purchase. No response back from Panasonic. Now warranty has expired. Figures. Loved it until it started leaking through a hole that broke out on bottom of cartridge. Will never buy a Panasonic again.

Iron

I love my new iron. The one thing I’m concerned about is that when ironing from l ft to right the water section moves - doesn’t seem stable.

Stopped working after two years

NI-QL1000 cordless iron worked great until it didn’t. Iron was used for quilting projects for approximately two years and then stopped working. The base still receives power but the iron itself would not operate. I disassembled the iron and identified the thermal cutout had blown which cuts off power to the heating element and the circuit board.

cute but not a hottie

I do not understand this iron.. just bought it and sending back. At the hottest setting , it is still not hot enough to iron cotton .... and as soon as you pick up the iron from the holder, the heat starts to diminish so you have barely 10 seconds at hot setting which is not hot.. I want an iron to iron .Are government regulations such that a lukewarm is considered sufficient? Cute iron. cute cover . nice retractable cord . Sad

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and feedback with us! We recommend ensuring that the iron reaches the desired temperature before removing it from the base. For best results when ironing cotton, we suggest using the steam function. For thicker cotton items, lightly sprinkling water can also help achieve better ironing results.

Problem staying connected

Great little iron. Lightweight. Hot and Heats quickly. Good steam. NO CORD! However, after using intermittently for a couple of years it developed a problem staying connected. I use it and it's fine and then I will notice that it is not getting as hot as it should after being in the cradle w/ the red light on. Cannot switch it off (back to the lower green light). Need to unplug and let cool, like overnight, sometimes a couple of days. Then I can try again and it will work for a while. Useable time has decreased to what is about 10-20 minutes. My question is, have you solved this problem? I'd like to buy another but I'm afraid of this happening again. The cost of the iron has nearly doubled, so I'd like some reassurance. (My model is: NI-WL600)

Really like it, now that I've got the hang of it

It's light, and not quite as hot as my old traditional iron so some things take a bit more "pressing". It also took me a while to stop trying to stand it on end like a traditional iron. BUT once I got the hang of it, it's fun and easy to use.... not quire ready to toss my old one yet, but so far this is a win.

Love My Cordless Steam/Dry Panasonic Iron

I recently purchased this cordless iron for use while I’m piecing quilts. Absolutely fantastic experience! It heats up so fast even after turning itself off if not used 30 minutes. Not having a cord is a game changer!! Highly recommend this product to everyone who sews!
