I fell in love with this purse at first sight. I had a similar purse in the late 70s, but this purse is nicer! It brings back happy memories of my late teens / early 20s. A much more affordable solution to "midlife crisis" (lol) than buying a sports car, right , ladies? I absolutely do NOT agree with the reviews whining about the strap. The strap is perfect. I think a bigger, bulkier strap would be ugly and unnecessary. Buy this gorgeous purse before they are sold out, it will make you smile every time you even look at it!

Beautiful purse terrible strap
This purse is unfortunately yet another example of beautiful PN purses ruined by poor strap design!!! The body is large for women that like larger purses while the curved shape makes it very gracious and the flower tooling adds to its uniqueness. I personally would have preferred the flowers to be just a darker shade of brown because I find the colours a bit too much but even with the colours, it might work depending on people's styles. However, you get to the strap and its an immediate turn off. It is attached to it with self-seal hooks which same like in the case of tortoise saddle, make it dance around and don't properly distribute the weight of the bag which even empty weighs enough due to size and suede-like lining. I adored the flap and the details around it, it felt easy to access the content and to organise but the flimsy strap, too thin, too poor for the size and the hooks ruined it. This bag is too busy, therefore a different strap from those available wouldn't work. Maybe if there was one available in same leather and colour, plain, but even that one due to the fact that these guitar straps are not even in width but narrow down towards the hooks, they would also ruin the look. If the strap was wider and properly sewn into the body, to give it stability and to make it practical for shoulder or crossbody wear, it would have been a winner! I do hope that the designer gets these feedback's because I noticed the straps are a repeated remark from other customers too and that she will improve that in the future. It is shame to waste all that material and detailed work for the gorgeous body and go cheap on a strap!
Very pretty saddlebag
This tooled bag was made with a lot of care, I've been wishing to own my own tooled saddlebag since I inherited a really worn out version from my mother. I really wanted the old style tooling without the garish colors, I wish were a little bit more muted, but it also makes the bag stand out and I feel happy using it, so I can live with that. The other reviewers were right about the strap, it's a little flimsy for my taste as well, I hope that Patricia Nash will consider this feedback from the reviewers. The interior is roomy and the pockets are a plus for me. It's a bag that will get used a lot for sure.

Beautiful colors but huge
This bag is beautifully painted and made but the design is awkward and huge. It also needs to have a wider strap. Definitely not a good choice for a smaller framed person.
Love The Look of this Bag!
This purse is even nicer than the online picture! The only negative is the thin strap which I hope will support the somewhat heavier weight of the bag and my phone, medium wallet (Patricia Nash of course!), and glasses. The purse does ‘dance’ a bit from the strap hooks and I have to to frequently stop to straighten out the strap. I really think having a thicker strap would help. That said - this is a BEAUTIFUL purse! It’s what I wished I could have afforded when I was young! LOL

I love Patricia Nash Handbags and this unique saddle bag is gorgeous and a great size, love the soft lining and all the details this bag has....a must have!! I gave this bag 5 stars....I think it will age well and look beautiful for years.
