Overly Perfumed
As much as I really wanted to like this product as I usually like the brand, this product was overly fragranced which irritates my skin. I much have a clean product without the risk of irritation due to a scent.

Skin Inflamed
Used original Hope in a jar for years. Stopped to try newer products. I was excited to try this for more moisture retention. Unfortunately I started trying when weather was extremely hot, so used with sunscreen. I broke out. Didn’t use with salicylic acid products, just Philosophy Purity Made Simple, witch hazel toner and this. My face looks awful. I believe it’s the overbearing fragrance but never the less wasted money and now waiting for face to heal.

Cooling and absorbing
Light and melts into the skin quickly.. Great for sensitive skin. I have found the original Hope in a Jar, has changed. Too thick and a strange odor .

Really makes your skin feel hydrated!
I really like the texture of this moisturizer. It doesn’t feel too thick, but leaves my skin feeling very hydrated and healthy. The packaging is kind of boring but I really do like how my skin feels after just a few days of using this moisturizer.

a great lightweight moisturizer!
i can’t tell if my skin likes this or not. i like how light it is and how far just a little product goes. the texture is really interesting! it’s a great lightweight moisturizer, but i’m not sure my skin likes it as much as my usual, thicker moisturizer.

Velvety skin
One of my favorite moisturizers I’ve tried! The scent is very mild. Like applying velvet to skin! It gives a spa-like experience for the face and neck. Love the plump look it gives with each application. Feels like giving my face a drink of water.

Hydration is amazing
I absolutely love this product! It’s so nice on your skin and leaves my skin so hydrated and plump. It goes perfectly under my makeup if I choose to wear some that day and I love that it comes in a glass jar so no worries for chemicals from plastic packaging. The scent is very clean and fresh and I would highly recommend this product if you’re looking for a good hydration boost that leaves your skin so smooth and clean.
