Blue and white checked polo shirt

I was in the store for a polo jacket for my dad they didn’t have his size because I guess in California the jacket is used for a school uniform so I found a checked navy and white checked and purchased it in whe wrong size. I took it back and they didn’t have the size I needed. The sale person even though she was busy too the time to return the shirt and order the correct size. It is now my dad’s favorite shirt. He’s a size medium and 91 years old so he gets cold often so this is a great shirt for him and fits true to size

I liked the style of this shirt. However, I am 6' 2" tall - I weigh 193 pounds. I ordered the X-Large and it was too small. The sleeves were about 2" short and the shirt was not long enough to tuck it in.
