The Defender outdoor ceiling fan from Possini Euro Design is rated for use in damp locations. It comes in a matte black finish motor and eight matte black finish blades with a 80-inch span. An energy-efficient LED light module is built into the bottom and covered by a polycarbonate lens that diffuses the lighting. A handheld remote control is included for operation.

Motor Keeps Failing? Don't Waste Your Money

purchased this fan in December. By February, the motor had already stopped working. The company sent me a replacement, but I had to pay an electrician to install it since our ceilings are 20 feet high and not something my husband or I could safely manage. Now it's August, and the motor has failed yet again. That means another electrician bill just to replace a faulty product. Extremely disappointed? zero stars. Would not recommend. ??
