Melted in dryer

Followed manufacture’s care instructions for washing and drying. Protective/waterproof layer melted and stuck together.

Not waterproof as advertised

Ir is not waterproof, as advertised. Our toddler jumped in the bed with us and peed, ruined our new mattress. This is the second one we own and the first one is was used for 9 years with no issues.

Wasn't as expected

Wasn't as expected, I've had the protect-a-bed for years, have been through 3 of them. I ordered another and it is not made the same. The ones I had in the past have a cloth like top to it, which makes your sheets sort of stay in place. Also the pockets are smaller than the previous ones, the protector doesn't stay tight like the old ones.

Love this well made cover which doesnt add height

I love this cover! It lasts for years! washes up great and best of all it is thin but very well made so it does not add height and thickness to your mattress. I don't want to add any height or padding to my mattress. I just wish I could find it in stores as I once did!

Sounds like plastic

I wanted to love this mattress cover so badly, a relative has one from the same company (Protect a Bed) that is great but this one was just awful! It was so hot I woke up stuck to the bed, and it was noisy like the plastic sheets on a hospital bed. Also when I washed and dried it per the directions the inside liner would stick to itself and make all these puckers that had to be stretched out and hopefully not tear. The only good thing to say is Hollander was very helpful with the return.

Noisy

I purchased a purple mattress and was given this by Mattress Firm. It is like sleeping on a trash bag. Noisy. I do not need a waterproof pad, need a cooling mattress cover. If you have a baby or incontinent issues then perhaps this is for you. If not, do not purchase

Doesn't work

I have a 2 year old who wets the bed sometime this did not work at all
