This is my second set of these pillow protectors. The original set lasted 10 years (yup, 10!!) with weekly washings following the washing and drying instructions. Only problem was that the zippers are cheaply made and broke on one of them, but not until 10 years of use! The other one started to give way on the inside and the lining ripped, also after 10 years of use. So I decided it was time for new ones. I'm pleased with the quality except that the zippers are made the same and I'm hoping they don't break. You have to be careful zippering them because they seem a little flimsy. Go slow. I still would recommend them. Protect A Bed is a great company. We also have the mattress protector and it is still in great shape after 11 years of weekly washings and dryings, following the instructions.

Purchased two more for the future.
Just like Protect-A-Bed terry cloth mattress cover. The material is qiet, but you have to work to put pillowcase on. It doesn't just slide on because of the terry cloth from the pillow cover.

Definitely yes, I would buy again

Terry makes this one different
Terry fabric. A little larger, about 1' both directions, than most other cotton pillow protectors and this allows for warm water wash and dry with shrinking accounted for. Noting another buyer rated this poorly when discovering this is a one'sie and not sold as set, know in advance this, like many other pillow protectors, is sold individually, unlike pillow cases that typically come in pairs.

Feels and sounds plastic-y
This definitely feels and sounds plastic-y. The only way to return is to call the phone number for returns, but each time I call I get a message that "all circuits are busy." I've tried numerous times. Don't buy this unless you're certain you won't return it because it appears it's not possible to return anything.
