Worst smelling pillow!

I've had the exact same name brand pillow for 4 years and it was past time to replace them. They were the best pillows I've ever had. I ordered two of these from Macy's on 8-22-2025 and they arrived with the worst smell and a paper note stating that they do smell but it would go away. I've had them for several weeks and the smell is the same! I can't use them it's so bad. I've tried everything imaginable to get rid of it but nothing has worked. These were a waste of money!

Best pillow I’ve ever had— but this one SMELLED

This is my second time purchasing this pillow, the first one via Leesa, this one directly from PureCare via Macy’s. It is the best pillow I’ve ever owned the perfect balance of firm and soft. The pillow top design molds so well to my head and neck, the cooling side is great when you’re overheating. My husband loved mine so much that I got him this one for our anniversary and it’s great, but it STUNK TO HIGH HEAVEN like mothballs when we first opened it. I washed it 3 times and it still has a faint mothball smell. I’m not sure if this is a manufacturing or storage issue, but it was pretty rough. Other than that, I highly recommend this pillow.

Nice Pillow

As with all new pillows it takes a little time to get used to it. I'm a side sleeper and I had been waking up with neck and shoulder pain...time for a new pillow. I did a lot of pillow research. I was looking at the water pillows and decided against them due to the weight of the pillow after the water was added. This was my second choice pillow and I am very happy I decided to go with it. I woke up a few times during the night to my neck or shoulders popping. In the morning when I got up, I had zero neck or shoulder pain. The pillow seems a little hard. I know it's because I'm not used to it. The pillow I replaced was soft and flat and more for a back sleeper. There is a slight odor to the pillow. I set it outside in a laundry basket for a few hours. The wind and fresh air took care of that odor. I am very happy that I chose this pillow.
