The best non-Newtonian mattress you can buy

I went to the Emeryville, CA store and Daryl was exceptionally helpful to me while I picked this mattress. I chose it over one of the more expensive models because I liked the feel better. The best way I can describe the mattress is that the Purple grid makes the surface non-Newtonian. So it seems way too soft, but once you are laid out and spread out over the bed, it becomes firm. This means that you can sleep with your arm under your head (or your cuddle buddy) without it being so soft that your back isn't supported or so firm that it's uncomfortable.

I would buy another mattress of purple if it were softer.

This mattress is much firmer than advertised. I put a 3" pillow topper on it and it has been perfect since. I have the purple pillows that are beyond amazing. The grid base would be very comfortable if it were softer.

Received two faulty mattresses in a row.

The first mattress came with a manufacturing defect (cutting issue that created a hard rod down the middle). We ordered a replacement and it came with a big yellow wet stain in it.

This mattress is super comfy I love it, it's not so much cooling tho because I still wake up hot, hence the reason for the 4 stars
