horrible, never again

absolutely horrible, didnt even give me the purchase, gave me an immediate refund, i thought i got scammed.

Scam Alert

I purchased two of these devices from Macy’s. Less than 60 days both devices failed to work. I contacted MetaQuest to discuss warranty services. MetaQuest failed to honor the warranty request because they stated the devices were purchased through a third party vendor. MetaQuest stated the third party vendor requested a refund on all of their devices and the warranty is no longer valid as the vendor received a full refund. MetaQuest stated that the third party vendor would have to provide a refund or repair the defective devices. I contacted Macy’s and have been getting the run around for over 90 days now. Macy’s states they are not responsible even though I paid for the devices on my Macy’s credit card. Macy’s stated they can only contact the third party vendor on my behalf. I finally discovered the third party vendor is Rainforest Deals. Rainforest Deals will not respond to any emails or calls. Macy’s states it is out of their hands. Macy’s is contributing this SCAM.

The whole checkout experience was a sham! Just after you finish the purchase you get an email saying it has been canceled??? A very discouraging experience, one I never would have expected from Macy's.
