stopped working in less than a year

I bought this watch as a gift for my dad’s birthday. Given the high price, I did not expect it to crash within first year. In least than a year it stops working. I have tried to reset it quite a few times but it sops. I doubt if I have been sent a fake item and I regret it as I paid out of pocket and it did not meet expectations. I don’t know how to solve this problem.
