FAKE pockets?!?! Why? Just why?!?!

Great material, flattering fit and love the pleat which makes these pants look fancy. BUT why are the zippered pockets FAKE?!?! Why can’t women’s pants have REAL pockets?!?! What’s the point of zippers that don’t have pockets?!?!
