Beautiful Table but NOT Solid Wood

This table is beautiful! It looks exactly like the picture and was very easy to put together. I was worried about the table being too low for my couch, but it was perfect. The reason for the one star review is because this table DOES NOT have a solid wood top, as clearly mentioned in the description. It is made of particle board with a very thin, oak veneer. The top of my table was damaged upon arrival, sadly. The price of the table would be justified if it was solid wood, but it is not.
