The Rocky 5 Outback boot features a premium, full grain leather upper with genuine breathable GORE-TEX waterproof construction to keep your feet dry and you comfortable while you spend time outdoors. For additional long-term comfort, this boot has a fully padded collar, and a (removable) extra thick PU Rocky Terra Suspension footbed with Air Flow design. The GORE-TEX compatible knit linings are breathable, soft and durable. Rocky boots featuring GORE-TEX are guaranteed to be durably waterproof and highly breathable. Why. Just what I expected from my Rocky Outback Boots.

This is my second pair of 6" outback boots. First pair gave me 10+ years of wear, but that was mainly in fall and winter. Great boot that never let my feet get wet or sweat with Gortex breathable membrane. All my outdoor boots are Rocky. You can put them on and walk miles without breaking them in. Please never cut quality in your materials and craftsmanship so I can always depend on Rocky Boots.

I've had these boots for a month now and they are very comfortable. I broke them in about 3 days. They seem to be very sturdy and rugged. I don't know if there water proof because I live in south Texas and it doesn't rain. LETS SEE HOW LONG THEY LAST....

The best of the best when it comes to footwear!

I have been wearing the Rocky outback footwear for more than 30 years! It is almost like wearing nothing, but it provides lots of protection and keeps my feet dry! Wet feet can make a person miserable! I have every style of the outback collection and get compliments every day! There is not a shoe store, where I live that sells anything like the outback collection! and they are worth every penny! My last pair lasted seven years before there was any type of wear on the shoe!

Great quality and last forever .

I have owned Rocky boots since the early 70’s . Best boots I have ever owned. I bought the Rocky hiker boots for their true fit, durability and affordability. I am 73 years old and will continue to wear Rocky boots . Thanks for making a great product !!!

High quality boots!

Comfortable and stylish these boot are great for everyday or casual wear. The workmanship is high quality and the materials are also of high quality. Gore-Tex waterproofing makes the boots worry-free when it's raining. Highly recommend these Rocky Boots.

A versatile boot

I have had at least 1 pair of these boots in my closet since they were introduced as Rocky Rockers. These are some of the most comfortable chuka style boots that I have purchased. I usually have 2 pair, one for work and one as a dress boot. They are versatile enough for either. These are a great value, even better when you find them on sale.

Ouch

I’d been considering buying these boots for some time as they come in a hard to find size and width I need. When there was a sitewide sale I ordered them. I really wanted to like these boots but within a short distance of walking the fold at the tongue dug into the front of my ankle badly. I tried adjusting the laces, folding my sock down for more cushioning, etc. No luck. It was sharp and harsh enough to leave a mark on my leg even through socks. I tried again a few days later after the mark had healed, paying special attention to lacing, socks, making sure there were no creases, etc. The very stiff fold at the tongue still dug in badly. There was no breaking this pair of boots in so I returned them.
