Good all around outdoor boot.

Have used several pairs of this boot. They have always been comfortable and durable. I'm a land surveyor so they get plenty of rough treatment. The insoles are thicker than I like so I replace them with thin insoles. Have not had any problems with the boots.

Besides a couple scuffs that I noticed straight out of the box these rocky boots look to be another good product from rocky boots. Unfortunately double EE width is no longer wide enough for me but I do recommend this boot to others with not such fat feet.

Your kids will be jealous

I didn't properly break in these boots before the first hike. I tried them on and wore them for one day to assure they fit, but that's not a good 'break-in'. I went on a long 'moderate to difficult' hike today, 6 miles round-trip, and the boots performed flawlessly. Everything on my body hurts EXCEPT my feet. My kids were jealous about how the water just ran off during and after the seven stream crossings. Yes, if I laced them up TOO tight they had some pressure points, but that was alleviated by loosening them a bit. I sized up a half size which I recommend. The toe box has plenty of room without it, but extra room certainly led to a comfortable fit.
