Steam button broke

The steam button broke after 2 years. My MS engineer husband took it apart and found the plastic button for triggering steam had broken and the spring had slipped out. This plastic button had a flimsy part easily subject to fatigue and breakage. He also said that very low quality screws were used to assemble the iron. He could easily repair the iron if we could order a replacement steam button, but this site does not sell that part.

Will never use a regular Iron Again

Worth every penny, I used to dread ironing, especially those items that have sat out a long time...not any more. Makes clothing seem as if it comes from the Dry Cleaners!!!

Love My Iron!!!

I ordered this in 2013 but never reviewed it. I love this iron and often wonder why it took me so long to go for a higher-quality iron. The price is what held me back but I put up a new studio and wanted an iron that could hold up to daily use with my sewing. This iron is fantastic...I can now press fabric that has been washed and dried in half the time of my old iron. Just amazing!!! Love the holding tank for the water/steam function. It is wonderful not having to refill it constantly. Would recommend this iron!!!

Love it!

This purchase is my second. My first Rowenta professional steam iron lasted me 16 years. I used it daily for clothing as well as when I am making garments or doing alterations. If you like to sew,guilt or you just like your clothing to have that pressed look it is worth the money.

Great product! Doesn't take long for the iron to get hot and cuts ironing in half the time it takes when using a regular iron!

The worst experience

I was so excited to get this iron, BUT when I took the machine out of its rotten box, I was shocked. The machine was so dirty and has been used probably for a long time, it has calcium deposit all over and even small hair all over. This is a shame for Macy's that I have always love shopping at, I think it is the fault of the supervisor. This product is going back.

Amazing Steam Iron

I am a single man and I hate to iron. This iron takes little effort to make my dress shirts, bedsheets or anything look amazing. I know the price is high, but the results will make you smile. I really like the large water tank for when I do larger loads of laundry. It was a Great Purchase! I would buy this product again!

Delivers the steam

This iron is not for the faint of heart! It is what I was looking for in terms of doing the job and I like it a lot, but it has some features that I could have been forewarned about. You must have a perforated ironing board or the board gets too hot. The filled water tank is heavy and you must have a sturdy place to set it during use. The pluses are it does a great job of pressing cloth completely plus creases beautifully, and you rarely need to fill the tank. The big minus is the steam button is on the interior of the iron handle so that you are likely to press it inadvertently.
