Safavieh Rug

This rug came with a hole in the plastic and a big black stain as if someone deliberately did that; so it's sitting in my living room as shown in the pics, because I don't have the time to return it. Any suggestions on how to clean it? Or maybe a price discount, so then I can have it professionally cleaned. I'm sorry about the 3 star review which isn't about the rug itself. I'll probably change it later when this is resolved. Don't know why it wouldn't let me submit photos to prove my point!
