Quality TV Console
This is a very nice TV console. It appears to be made of about 90% solid maple wood with a off white/cream slightly destressed finish which is not very noticeable. It comes assembled except for two small bottom trim pieces. The console includes three door options, glass, matching solid wood or black mesh panels. The console is sturdy, well built and very heavy. The center top drawer has bearings and slides open and shut smoothly and the front folds up and down. The middle and bottom drawer operate without bearings and can be difficult to open and close and do not fold down. The console had a noticeable odor which went away after a month or so. The company who delivered the console did a poor job and failed to clean up after setting up the console. Macy's was great about refunding the extra fee we paid for "white glove" delivery. We purchased this console when it was on sale during the holidays for about $1,000. Pictures show the front, back and a 55 inch OLED LG TV for comparison.
