How to Fix that Weird Knot in the Front

just bought this suit for my daughter. That knot in the front is weird! We wrapped that piece around the middle of the bra and then tied a knot. Niw it looks great. Makes more of a sweetheart neckline. I really think it should come with instructions. The way the model is wearing it cannot be correct!
