Disappointed

Beautiful boot

I had been looking at these boots for a while and finally purchased them. I love the boot, the color, pattern and heel height. They are a beautiful red color. I am 5'8" and when I put the boots on they hit me mid knee and that is not ideal. It is also very big around the calf and upper. Sitting, this boot digs into the back of my knee. I debated returning but I really love them so kept them anyway.

Narrow calf and off color

I bought the spiced mahogany boots to wear over skinny jeans, but the calf is so narrow the boots don't fit over jeans, only bare legs. Also I would definitely call the color red, not spiced mahogany. The boots are pretty, but I am hoping the calf area can be stretched as the boot is narrow and stiff. I wear a size 8.5 and ordered a 9 so the foot part fits fine but the calf is tight.

Boot for skinny Women

The boot is advertised as genuine leather but looks very synthetic. I am a heavier girl but i have skinny legs and i couldnt even get the boot on. Because i really like the boot im gonna see if it can be stretched... if not im returning.

Comfy but snug and narrow

I always love my Sam Edelman purchases and these ones are great but they are snug. Of course, they are comfy! I went up a half size like I usually do for boots and I'm glad I did. Even then, the foot is very narrow. The calf area on the boot is also slim but I have skinny calves so this was a win for me. Someone with bigger calves would find these too tight though.

Great boots

I really love these boots! I have rather thin calves and they don't gap or look too big. Also, the heel is just right. I can walk all over NYC in them no problem going to meetings, etc. Lastly, I really like the croc pattern and finish. They are not too shiny or fake looking at all. I would highly recommend this boot!
