Samsonite carry-on is great!

This is a good little carry-on. It's the perfect size for most airlines' requirements, but I checked it, because I'm too old now to hoist it up and into the overhead bin if it's fully packed. It made it through the checked bag process and four different airplanes (all those handlers) with not one scratch. The handle works well, and the wheels glide smoothly. Glad I bought it.

Distinctive luggage

We ordered these suitcases for an upcoming trip. We love them, they're light, and sturdy, and just distinctive enough to distinguish them on the baggage claim. And they're good looking!

Not usual quality.

The quality was cheap to me based on previous Samsonite luggage purchase that I have made in the past. Returned and purchased the Samsonite Silhouette 17!

DIDN'T LAST 1 YEAR!

Didn't last a year! Only used 4 times and under the allowed 50 lbs yet, the top and side handles each broke off. The handles do not have any give or lift to them. They are just flat mounted vinyl straps. TSA broke the lock so evidently it was not TSA friendly.

Cracked After Airline Checked It.

Unfortunately, the airline forced me to check this carry-on because of limited overhead space. When I claimed my luggage the outer shell was cracked. I purchased this suitcase in April. October was the second time I used it and it cracked. I would not recommend this suit because of how easily the outer shell cracked after being checked once as a checked luggage.

Terrible quality. Not what it used to be

Terrible! Don’t spend your money on a bag that doesn’t last one trip. Not only the lock was damaged and useless but parts got lost in one flight. I am a frequent flier, I fly with same airlines multiple times a year… product is of poor quality not like older Samsonite craftsmanship

Wheel broke off 2nd time used

Wheel broke off 2nd time bag was used. Just purchased the bag in late July. Wheel broke off wheeling into airport. We were going out of the country so was VERY inconvenient the entire trip. Do not purchase this bag. Bery disappointing

So wanted to love this suitcase. Unfortunately, when ordering, I didn’t notice that it doesn’t have a side handle. I need a side handle. It’s a nice looking case, seems sturdy and roomy. The top handle looks secure, I need a handle on the side to help in lifting it. Will return.
