Nice TV, remote difficult to use

TV has great picture quality, color, and detail. The remote is difficult to use. I've had the TV for 6 months and I still have difficulty making adjustments to the picture. Some of the symbols are not intuitive and there isn't a written explanation for what they do. Remote does not control a non-Samsung soundbar.
