It is not overly thick but has a nice enough weight and soft texture - perfect for movie watching on the sofa. It is also generously sized so you can keep your feet warm too! The throw is also attractive and looks fabulous across the back of a chair or sofa. The weave is nice and tight and the houndstooth pattern is crisp. The tassels are nice touch. The throw would also made a nice gift as it comes nicely folded with a ribbon around it. Overall I highly recommend this throw!
