It's a great watch but

It's a great watch but, it's a solar battery so if you are deciding to give this as a gift and keep it in its box, make sure that the tab is not pulled. As leaving it in the dark too long can ruin the battery.

History of Seiko is good. Your stock of this price watch is very low. I wanted to buy 5 of them, I could only buy 2 in the store and another 1 had to be shipped. You also need more people to help behind the counter, who actually know what they're doing.

Perfect watch

Almost identical in design, size and weight to my two previous Seikos, which means it is familiar and perfect for my needs and wants. I much prefer its smaller face than the majority of men's watches in this price range. Great styling, with easy to read hands, day and date. Convenience of solar charging.

Simple classic design, very accurate, great value

An attractive reflective dial, with a simple easy-to-read watch face. Easy to set and use, no unnecessary complications to clutter things up. I wish it had a sapphire crystal for top durability (but who can really complain at this price); I'm hopeful that Seiko's 'hardlex' crystal will hold up well enough for regular use. By most reports, the 'solar' charging system has proven to be a reliable and essentially no-maintenance way to power a watch for a *very* long time, probably in excess of ten years. This should be an excellent everyday watch, tastefully attractive (the picture doesn't do it justice) without being tiresomely over-flashy. I like it a lot.

Great Price and Excellent Watch

A watch that can be worn every day and classic looking at the same time. The light weight of the watch is what I like a lot.
