This is my 4th mattress in a box. The other brand I purchased was Spa Sensations. I had them for years and they were great. I decided to try this brand because I purchased the bed from Macy's and they had a sale. I have never seen a mattress in a box expand so fast in all my life. It's a little softer than my previous ones. However, the bed I purchased requires a box spring, so should give it more support. The others I did not need a box spring. The other ones I purchased were 12 inch. This time I ordered 10 inch.

This mattress in a box from Serta exceeded my expectations (they were very low as I couldn’t believe a mattress *could* come in a box). The mattress was easy enough to slide out of the box (although it took some tugging) and I was very grateful it didn’t explode into full form once I cut open the plastic that was keeping it condensed. The mattress is very pliable and because it is so bendy and moveable, it makes it a bit difficult to slide down a hallway since it wants to bend over if it’s sideways. It is very comfortable but you might want a topper if you don’t like a plushy quilted top; you can feel all the quilted squares as you lay on it. We did notice some discoloration spots on the underside of the mattress. I am hoping that it is simply a dye issue and nothing else.

This mattress is a dream come true after suffering on those flimsy sponge-style box mattresses that completely lose support and just sink your body. I absolutely love how firm it is! I received my Serta Five Star Mattress 10 inch mattress in a box and it arrived exactly as described, in a box. It was all rolled up and that made it so much easier to move to the location where it was unpackaged. It inflated on its own and once inflated you would not even know it arrived in a roll. The mattress is 10 inches deep so moderately squishy and is very comfortable. It seems very supportive for my back and it will be a great mattress that will meet our needs perfectly. The mattress seems very durable and made of quality materials.Mattress in a box will be my go to from now on.

VERY UNHAPPY CUSTOMER
I ordered this bed on a Wednesday 17th. Its now Tuesday 23rd the order still has not shipped. I reached out to Macys customer support 3 days in a row who gave me the run around each time with no resolution. Item has not shipped 5 business days later. I cant cancel the order and they have no update. Very frustrated. I understand its a 3rd party vendor, so this 3rd party vendor is TERRIBLE
