I bought my Serta Perfect Sleeper exactly 1 year ago from Big Lots. The side I sleep on has an indentation of my body. Someone else on a review described this issue as a sinking hole on my side of the mattress. I was so excited to get my new mattress but now after 1 year I have this problem that I shouldn't. I assume I need a new mattress at this point.

Replaced my old, uneven, pokey mattress with this one and the difference was as clear as night and day! I'm very happy with this product.

After about year of use, I noticed that the top cover of the mattress, mostly in the middle was coming loose from the material below it. This wasn't that big of a deal, it would just kind of bunch up a bit. However, after 1.5 years, I've discovered what seems to be a gap or tear in the pad just below the cover. It's about 2 feet long, and maybe a few inches wide, just about centered in the mattress running length-wise. It's very uncomfortable as it's right where I sleep. Unfortunately for me, I can't find my receipt so I'm not sure if it is covered under the warranty.

After reading the reviews I thought I would get the most comfortable mattress ever. I was wrong. I first ordered the Perfect Sleeper Renewed Sleep pillow top firm. All the talk on the description about pressure-relieving comfort and support with the special layers. It just felt like a very firm mattress - no give. I exchanged for the Luminous sleep 3-layers of comfort without the pillowtop thinking maybe the pillowtop was infringing on all that pressure relieving comfort and the medium firmness. I was wrong again. I did not feel any pressure relief comfort, still feels very firm even thought the firmness is "medium" and no cooling effect noticed. Basically, it is a good mattress. Nothing special. It is no more comfortable than my old firm pillowtop by Beautyrest. It is also not clear that the 120-day trial only applies to the first mattress you buy. If you exchange it, you get what you get. Serta is obviously a good quality brand. Just note, the whole pressure relief comfort is not there, at least in the two I received. I personally do not feel it was worth the money. Perhaps the plush firmness would be different, but I can no longer exchange.

I can't tell you how many mattresses I have had over the years. This is the best mattress I've have found for my bad back and the first one I can sleep on for more than 3 or 4 hours. And the best part is it did 'not' come rolled up in a box with the life sucked out of it. I just wish I could buy another one. I am unable to find this anymore. Very sad about that.

My fiance and I were sleeping on a 10 year old mattress that started giving us back and neck pain around year 8. Finally we decided to get a new one. We found this Serta Perfect Sleeper to be the best mattress of the ones we tried that we both agreed on. We both slept great for the first 3 months! Going on month 4 and my side has a sink hole in it. The back and neck pains have returned. I also wake up feeling like I was kicked in the ribs, as taking a deep breath in the morning hurts. I'm not a huge guy. I'm 180lbs and this thing has a sink hole already. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

I've had a Serta before which was great so I knew the quality. So I'm happy with this one, too.

I was sleeping on an 8-year-old mattress and decided to upgrade to this. I've had it for a year and a half, and I've had the worst sleep of my life during this time. I've suffered from insomnia and night sweats. No matter what I do, it's way too hot, and I toss and turn all night. I wish I never would have bought it.
