Length of ownership1 year or longer

This mattress has not lasted 1 year

I bought my Serta Perfect Sleeper exactly 1 year ago from Big Lots. The side I sleep on has an indentation of my body. Someone else on a review described this issue as a sinking hole on my side of the mattress. I was so excited to get my new mattress but now after 1 year I have this problem that I shouldn't. I assume I need a new mattress at this point.

We LOVE Our new Serta PERFECT SLEEPER. It's Truly a DREAM come true. I've been dreading the purchase because there's SOOO MANY to choose from. We really liked the help Nancy, a furniture and mattress specialist gave us. We rate service, delivery and product both 5 star.

Don't buy. A total waste of money.

We bought it about a year ago hoping that it was a real firm mattress. It works ok in the first 6 months, and after that it started collapsing on my husband’s side (he weighs 180lb, totally in the normal range of a male adult). We rotated it and I could clearly feel the difference, that it felt like I was about to slide off the bed all the time. It got even worse after a few months, and we started feeling back pain in the morning. Last week we requested to claim the warranty. A week later, Macy’s sent an inspector, who stayed less than 2 minutes and left without a word. We waited another week and still didn’t hear from them. I contacted Macy’s today and the answer is NO. The inspector’s report said everything was fine. Are you kidding me? All he did is putting a small object on the mattress and taking some pictures. He didn’t even try to press and feel the mattress with his own hand. They seem to offer a 10-year warranty but will NEVER proceed with it.

Crappy warranty

Bought this bed 2 and a half years ago. The side wall on the right side of the mattress has come apart from the rest of the mattress. Serta won't give warranty as it didn't have a box spring even though It was on a platform bed.

Not ultra firm, very cushioned

I've had it 2 weeks and haven't trusted it since day one. Very disappointed. I bought this mattress without trying it first because the ultra firm model was not available to try in store. My previous Serta brand ultra firm mattress purchased about 10 years ago was actually very good which is why I purchased this model. This mattress is not ultra firm (more of a cushioned firm) and I think it will get less supportive over time. Returning.

Very comfortable

Purchased this to replace our Serta iComfort. This is our 3rd Serta mattress purchase and we have been very satisfied with the all. The renewed night X-Firm was exactly what we wanted for comfort and durability.
