Length of ownership1 year or longer

This mattress has not lasted 1 year

I bought my Serta Perfect Sleeper exactly 1 year ago from Big Lots. The side I sleep on has an indentation of my body. Someone else on a review described this issue as a sinking hole on my side of the mattress. I was so excited to get my new mattress but now after 1 year I have this problem that I shouldn't. I assume I need a new mattress at this point.

Crappy warranty

Bought this bed 2 and a half years ago. The side wall on the right side of the mattress has come apart from the rest of the mattress. Serta won't give warranty as it didn't have a box spring even though It was on a platform bed.

Very comfortable

Purchased this to replace our Serta iComfort. This is our 3rd Serta mattress purchase and we have been very satisfied with the all. The renewed night X-Firm was exactly what we wanted for comfort and durability.

Very disappointed

I assumed SERTA had a good product, I needed a very firm mattress due to some back weakness. I got a rather expensive extra firm twin SERTA Perfect Sleeper mattress and it was fine for the first few months. I only weigh 135 pounds and soon began to sense the mattress was turning into a soup bowl. It kept getting worse. The only way I could get the firmness I needed was to try to sleep right on the mattress edge where it was still quite firm. And then I was about falling off the bed. I flipped it over to see if using it upside down would help and it did for about a month, but that too became a soup bowl, like what you would expect in a cheap motel. I went back to where I bought it and their lame excuse was that the firmness does break down some with time. Really! Just a half year and as light as I am? They said they would stand behind it if it sagged 1 1/2” below the level line from edge to edge. What a joke that is. The sagging happens when skinny me lies on it. It does not show much sag with no weight on it. I’m totally disgusted with this mattress. If you need a firm mattress, DO NOT BUY SERTA !

Am I at the MGM in Las Vegas?

I went to Las Vegas & stayed at the MGM a few years back & fell in love with the bed in my room. This Serta reminds me of that bed. I slept straight through the night. A good mattress = a goodnight sleep.

Perfect nights rest

I used to have a very plush mattress that was very old and did not give me the support I needed. I constantly had back pain from sleeping. I am really happy with this mattress, after using it for a month I have realized how important it is to have a good quality mattress. I was skeptical at first since it does feel very firm, but it quickly broke in very nicely. The initial nights of sleeping may not feel as comfortable if you have been used to a really plush mattress. I am really happy with the support this mattress has given me and it’s a really good quality.
