I couldn't be happier. It is not easy to buy a mattress during a pandemic... After reading reviews on several websites, and finding the best price at Macy's, I made my decision. I found this mattress to be my "Goldilocks" find. Not too soft, not too hard. I am a side sleeper, yet just as comfy when on my back. My kitty must agree, he sleeps on it all day long! I also purchased the lowest priced box spring from Serta and the combination works fine... I have this mattress 5 months now. Delivery was done professionally by men wearing shoe covers and masks. They men were kind enough to lift the mattress off of the box spring one more time, when I realized I forgot to use my bed skirt. They removed all packaging as they left. Perfect delivery!

I have always associated the SERTA Mattress Brand with excellence in quality, craftsmanship, durability, and innovation. This Malloy Plush Queen Mattress & Boxspring Set from SERTA’s SleepTrue Collection indisputably upheld those standards and more. In keeping with SERTA’s visionary approach, the Malloy Plush Mattress is unique in that it features a supportive coiled system with the addition of a cooling gel foam layered on top. Foremost, I will predicate my assessment with the fact that my previous experience has only been with traditional innerspring mattresses. I also have a preference for softer mattresses. Lastly, I (along with my husband) opted to use this mattress for nearly 4 weeks in order to acquire a thorough and accurate experience prior to me writing this review. Initially, I was apprehensive as to whether or not that additional gel foam layer could provide increased breathability/better dissipation of heat. With comfort being high on my list of requirements for my ideal mattress, I also had concerns regarding how a memory foam top layer would affect the overall firmness. To my pleasant surprise, I was easily able to discern that ‘cooling’ sensation from the foam gel, which I also found very pleasing. The mattress did end up being true to its “plush” rating. There are several other notable aspects that I discerned during my extended trial period. First, I am impressed with the sturdiness and supportiveness of this mattress. For example, I detect minimal jostling whenever my partner climbed in or out. This feature has been so helpful as we have different sleep schedules. Additionally, we both tend to move about during our sleep, and I routinely find myself barely clinging on to the edge of the bed. Interestingly, I’ve noticed how stable I still felt at the edge! Unfortunately, I am not able to attest to its comfortability/support level in regards to different body size/shape and varying sleep positions. My partner and I are both tall individuals + side sleepers, and it has worked out great for us. Overall, this is a high quality, well-thought out, and impeccably designed mattress. I was not able to find much, if any, fault with it! If anything, due to my love for super soft mattresses, in retrospect I would have chosen the variation with the pillow-top. Of course that does not detract anything from this fantastic mattress! In short, I highly recommend and happily endorse this mattress! My only suggestion would be to explore all the options offered in regards to firmness levels prior to purchase, but I guarantee you will not be disappointed!!

I love it
I absolutely love it and I think that it is a gift from the universe. It kind of circumvents the firm-soft argument, because is just different. Comfortable and supportive mattress but that conformed so well to the body that they were super comfortable. This mattress feels soft when you first lie down on it.
