This is seriously so fun. I originally wanted it for my 8 year old son. But after we recieved it, and I watched him do it I decided to kinda stole it. He loves it along with my 13 yr old daughter and 16 yr old son even my husband enjoys it. It is so fun the bug goes crazy (my cats try to get it) and its really well made so they haven't been able to destroy it along with it crashing into things. Its held up really well. The gun is also well made. Its a great toy and I recommend it for anyone.

So much fun and excitement that lasts for hours
this set made my son so happy and he just can't get enough of playing with it. The robotic bug is so cute as it moves across the floor. It works very well and does what it was meant to do. My son says that he loves the blasting sounds that come from the blaster when he shoots at the bug. Yes we recommend.

My son loves this!
As a mom of a boy who loves bugs, this was a perfect gift! My son is 8 and is also great with electronics. Inside the box, there is one bug, one blaster and a micro charging cable. The bug requires the charge and the blaster requires a rechargeable battery- which is also included making instant play time out of the box. The concept is super fun- simple enough for a kid to play alone and stay entertained. The bug is cute- creepy, crawly and runs around. When it is blasted, it rolls over on it's back. The blaster fires, reloads and changes shooter modes, which is pretty awesome. All in all, my son loves this and I think the quality is great. I do wish that more bugs came with the kit, as to have several "targets" to aim at and may hold the attention for longer.

Kids love it
My kids love playing with this Blaster Robo Bug Hunt . The only thing they don’t like is that it only has one bug to hunt. The love that the gun reloads easily. They like that it’s easy to change the gun settings. The gun does require 2 aaa batteries but they do last awhile. They like the look of the bug they also like that it makes noises and it is fast. The youngest loves that the bug flips over when it’s hit then rights itself and resets to start playing again. The bug is rechargeable. It doesn’t take very long for the bug to recharge. My kids are ages 5,12,&13 and they all enjoy this toy .

So fun
I gave this to my 7 year old son for his birthday and he loved it. Comes with one gun and one bug. The bug charges, buy the gun requires triple a batteries. When you shoot the buh iy runs around and jumps onto it's back then flips back over. It's pretty fast, and resets itself for more play. Definitely a lot of fun.

Fun but...
The concept is fun and so is the actual product but it's kind of limited fun with just one bug. Now the bug and gun itself both work great. The gun fires, reloads, and changes shot modes quick and easily and seems to have a good battery life (not included). The bug is great, it's creepy, crawly, runs around, flips to it's back when hit and wakes back up and goes crazy all over again. That being said it's relatively easy to hit the target bug which is why I say limited fun because my son gets bored after a short time, it would be much better with multiple moving targets or with multiple sets so you can play with more people and bugs. Now I'm not sure if you can buy bugs separately but will look into this

fun for my kiddos
my boys really like this and think it is fun. Wish it had more bugs than just one but the idea is fun for the kids. They love all the nerf/laser gun type products and this was a fun and different idea for them!

Hours of fun!
I received this for my son and he LOVES it! We take turns and play for hours! It's very accurate and works great! We both love playing it! We have even got daddy to play a few times! Works best on a hard surface. I definitely recommend this. It will keep kids and adults busy for hours!
