Beautiful, vulnerable and very informative!
This book is a great read for anyone interested in learning more about themselves, their connections, and astrology. It combines history, the spiritual traditions of many cultures and places and namely West African astrological traditions and history, and gives you several prompts and tools to work with to understand your connections and compatibility with family, friends, business partnerships, and romantic partners. Dossé-Via is very vulnerable in it about her own relationships to try to teach others about how we connect with others and what astrology can teach us about connection and partnership in all of its forms. If you are interested in astrology, self-exploration, learning more about West African spirituality, and how our conditioning impacts our relationship, this is a great book to have. It is also beautiful in terms of the publishing, with a gorgeous cover and font/images/charts on the inside. I highly recommend to add this to your bookshelf, as you will spend hours on end engaging with it and learn so much about yourself and your connections!

Pure Gems!
Let me tell you all something about Dossé-Via, for those of you who might not have been made privy just yet. She is Astrological Royalty, as far as I am concerned, because her insight and readings are always right in the pocket and genuine, without the extra "woo woo woo." I was so thrilled to receive my copy of Signs & Skymates when it was released. Of course I haven't read through it all yet, but I am dang sure enjoying the journey of it. I also purchased the compatibility deck and the journal, so watch for those reviews as well. So much Love & Light to you, Dossé-Via!

An Enlightening and Eye-Opening Experience
I've been waiting for an astrology book of this nature to come out, and this one surpassed my expectations! It peels back the various lenses and layers through which we can explore our own natal chart, and it encourages self-reflection over the need to immediately know who we're "matched" with. I also love the ways mainstream astrology is disrupted in favor of connecting the reader back to the indigenous origins of the practice. Highly recommend!
