Stiff, Hard to slip on

I purchased for my dad and had to return as he is learning to walk and needed a shoe that was easy to slip on. This pair is not the one as its a little stiff around the foot opening and you need strength to put your foot inside. Its super light and the design is good but am not sure about the quality. The functionality was lacking.
