Water leak in from the bottom on wet ground

I bought the black ones, the look was nice. The first time I wore them, it’s a light raining day, so the ground was wet. After 5 minutes walk on the wet pavement , I could feel the bottom of both my socks soaking with water, unbelievable, it’s not like I put my feet in pools of water, I just stepped on normal wet ground on a light rain day. This never happened with my other sneakers. Really regret buying these.
