Soft on skin

It’s so soft for the skin and very light. One of the best primers so far

Works

Excellent as a primer gives the skin an overall even tone. Does not hide imperfections but your skin looks even and the foundation glides on over it.

Still not sure about this one

I love Smashbox primers, been using them for years. Took a chance on this primer to help even out my skin tone. Well it did even out my skin but not to my tone. It left me orange and greasy. I thought maybe I used to much, but I tried again and still left my face significantly darker than usual. I will hang on to it and hope maybe in the summer when I get a nice Tan it might have better results. For now, not really impressed.

Total waste of money

Bought this product a few days ago as I have some very noticeable age spots/pigmentation at the corners of my eyes and one on the side of my nose. I'd researched the product before buying, and the reviews seemed positive. I've used the product 3 times now, with absolutely no difference at all. The product does not reduce the appearance of the age spots, either with or without foundation and/or concealer on top. I consider the product a total waste of money.

Best I've tried!

I have natural redness and I've tried several green tinted primers, none of which made any difference. This primer goes on silky smooth and feels beautiful on my skin. It creates a lovely smooth base for applying foundation. Best of all, it actually helps counter the redness which I find considerably reduced. I'm very happy to have found this product.

Made for me

I feel like Smashbox has me in mind when making this foundation because I have hyper pigmentation and this primer assists the foundation and my concealer in covering my problem areas up.

Not as good as luminizing version.

The luminizing Primer which I have used for several years, seems to have disappeared so I opted for this one instead. It's a lot paler and initially you look a bit ghostly. This fades a bit but it still looks rather flat whereas the Luminising version gave my skin a radiance which was often commented on. I miss it. Why has it disappeared?
