Web ID: 15337023I Wanted To Love This Book, But...
The recipes in this book are a bit over the top. A slow-roasted chicken on a bed of unapologetically schmaltzy croutons? The marketing approach to peak curiosity, I love, but the actual recipes, they leave something to be desired. I just didn't want to bury this book with a bad review. Somebody might find it helpful. I am going to try to make the Blueberry Pancake Cobbler. Maybe that will redeem things for me. What I did find helpful was that in looking for new cookbooks, I did find a cookbook reference book called "Conquer Your Kitchen" by a Chef Jai that has become worth it's weight in gold. My youngest daughter stopped actually calling me now that I bought that book when she is working in the kitchen. Now that book you should buy without hesitation.

Decveptively inventive and totally delicious
Deceptively inventive and totally delicious... A 100 recipes that are easy to prepare and make, with streamlined ingedients (most you have on hand) . Incredibly simple in design and dishes you want to make and eat. I particularly was partial to the spaghetti and meatballs, the tomato and corn cobbler and the desserts. From breakfast, to salads, mains and desserts, this cookbook as it all. Truly keepers you will make over and over again because they are deceptively inventive and totally delicious and easy. A good layout with tempting photos, you, too, will be smitten. Recommend.
