OK so far

The sheets seem to be as described. The hems at the top and on the bottom are kind of skimpy. But the fabric is nice and smooth and has a nice sheen. Hopefully they will last a long time.

I would not purchase them again.

Don't let the California name fool you, they are from India. After first way they were no longer soft and the pillow cases were not sewn properly square.

Worst sheets ever

I don’t know how these sheets have decent reviews. They feel like sand paper. Absolutely the worst sheets I’ve ever bought. So itchy and rough!

Great sheets

Very comfortable. The 500 count sheet is good to the touch and feels great.. most importantly, my wife is very happy and that matters more than anything.

Great set of sheets at a great price!

I ordered 2 sets of these sheets in the queen size. When I opened them to wash before using I didn't think these are what I'd call sateen sheets. I was concerned they might feel rough. Fast forward, put them on the bed today and they are just lovely! Seems as though every time we buy new queen size sheets, they are way too loose for our bed and so they slide around, come off the corners of the mattress, etc. These fit perfectly, not too loose or too tight, they are perfect! And tonight I'm writing this review while in bed and these sheets are very nice and do have a sateen sort of finish. I would definitely recommend them and will buy some more soon. I'm so happy with these sheets and I haven't felt that way about new sheets in many years.

Scratchy Sheets

I have never bought cotton sheets that were so scratchy, not soft at all. They had a chemical smell so I washed them right away, the smell is gone, but I am wondering if they might get soft if I wash them over and over again?
