I am very pleased with the mixer so far. Lightweight enough for me, but with lots of power.

Powerful
I had another name brand hand mixer for years and it was OK. The first time is use this one , it put the old one to shame! This is a very powerful hand mixer and my cream whipped to peaks in less than a minute. I love this mixer!!

First speed turbo!
This is a high quality built mixer. The first speed is turbo fast and I was hoping for gradual speeds from a one slow speed to a turbo.

Certainly not lightweight
My first thought when I took the mixer out of the box is how heavy it is. I thought about returning it but figured the little bit I will use it it will be fine. I must say the lowest speed is a much higher speed than needed to blend things. I do like the bigger beaters vs. the skinny style most mixers have.

Very happy
I like how easy it is to use and wash. Also enjoy using it to mix my corn tortilla dough. Saves me some time when making tortillas. I haven’t used the highest speed yet. But can’t wait to make some whipped cream with it.

Great device with great performance
This SOLAC 5 Speed+Turbo Hand Mixer is great! I bake my own bread once a week, and for this purpose I was looking for a hand mixer so that I didn't have to turn on the food processor. First I had the Bosch MFQ36400, but I was disappointed in the quality, to say the least. And what can I say: He's doing great. Not only does it look a bit more stylish than the somewhat conservative household appliances from other brands, it also does its work with a high level of performance, which is particularly important for yeast dough. Since it starts off relatively vigorously in the first stage, I don't know what it's like when you have to whip cream with it, for example. But for my purposes it is just right. And: You won't find any plastic on either the stirring rods or the kneading hooks.
