Bought this a little over 2 months ago. I don't watch tv that often though but lately it is not making any sound. I can mute the TV but none of the buttons on the bar's remote will do anything or increase the volume. Very poor instructions to operate. I'm connected via the optical digital cable provided.

Sony 2.0 Package Delivery
Sound Bar is good, but I was very disaapointed to see that it was not mailed in a package box. Just the original manufactored box. This was suppose to be a surprise gift on Fathers Day. But since it was clearly exposed packaging...goodbye "Surprise!" And everybody and anyone can see what you have which is crazy, people will steal packages regardless but why make it even easier!

Great affordable sound bar
True that it delivers punchy bass(but not rumbly since there is no subwoofer). Excellent clarity for both video and music, auto or manually choosing cinema/ music works best for me, the difference being more a bit more treble in cinema mode. Don't expect the surround effect you get with sound force pro like in the ht-s400, but the sound stage here is good as well. Goes really loud! Bang for the buck!

Very great feature and it is easy to install
I bought this picture at February and it is fantastic. Two single 2 inch single sound. Bluetooth technology is a very good sound bar. The order is super clear and the base is very nice. When you watch movie, the audio come out like you are in a cinema
