Great TV. Sony Pictures Core is no good.

The picture is wonderful. My only issue is it recommends resuming movies that I've never watched. I tried to change my password online and it's a maze.

Regarding the movie recommendations, that can be a bit confusing. A few things might be causing this: 1) Multiple Profiles: If you're using a Google TV profile, it might be an issue with another linked profile or a past login. 2) Shared Account: If your Google TV account is also logged in on another device (like a friend's or family member's), it could be their viewing history affecting your recommendations. 3) App-Specific Issue: This could be an issue with a specific streaming app on the TV rather than the TV's software itself. You can often clear the viewing history and reset the recommendations within the settings of the individual streaming app (like Netflix or Disney+). You can also try clearing the app cache and data through the TV's settings, the best way to resolve this is to contact the official Sony support team at https://us.esupport.sony.com/support/s/support-contact?language=en_US&category=tv As for the password issue, we understand how frustrating that can be. Super TV and performance

Bought the 65-inch after reading lots of reviews. Picture, is bright, clean and true. Sound is also great even without a sound bar or home system. I like the Google operating system as it means I can connect with my phone and other connected devices. This is a excellent TV.

Great TV

I love everything about this TV, sound, picture, remote, etc. The Google TV operating system needs work. It is slow, bloated and not able to be changed to anything better. I recommend this TV without reservation but most will want a streaming device to use with it.

Check that your TV is running the latest firmware for optimum performance. If you install many apps, uninstalling a few you don't use will clear up TV memory and free processing power. Additionally, if you chose to set up Google TV during the initial configuration, the movies and TV show recommendations in the "For You" section will be drawn from your selected streaming services. To manage the settings for your current Google Account and enable the Apps Only mode on the Home screen, simply press the (Quick Settings) button on your remote control.
