Quality Going Down Hill

I owned the Joan of Arctic Wedge first generation and loved them. When it came time to replace them I bought these second generation wedges. The quality has gone down hill significantly. The leather is much rougher, the laces are much stifferand harder to tie and the dye in the leather bleeds and turns my skin and socks black (even after many uses). Complete disappointment. I wish I had bought a backup of the first generation when I had the chance.

Style and comfort

These wedge boots are so comfortable that I prefer them to flats. Perfect arch support and style too-I love them and will be purchasing another pair in a different color very soon.

Quality of Leather Overall my favorite of Sorel and I have a lot of Sorel.

My favorite shoe of Sorel. I bought an extra pair. The color is great and goes with everything. True to Size. I love the height of the boot up the calf and I love the heel.

Love them! Kinda narrow but that can be fixed

I love these boots and got them in the ash brown- love the color! I am usually a 7.5W and got a 8. I did have to stretch the leather to fit my width better. They are pretty comfortable and cute! I'd recommend them to anyone!

Just buy them already

Aside from being gorgeous they are all-day-wear comfortable. I have an extremely wide foot so I always go up 1/2 size in boots - even with Sorel. The lacing configuration and soft, unlined leather allow room in the toe box and ankle. I have 2 other pair of Sorel boots (both with more rigid leather) and these are the most comfortable. I can easily wear either thin or thicker wool socks, so they are good for multi-season wear. These may be pricier than other similar boots but you can’t match the quality and style you’ll find in this boot!
