Great Pool Shorts, not for surfing per se

I like them alot but IMO, not boardshorts as they have an elastic waistband in the back. The drawstring/front closure does pull the elastic in back tight but it is limited by the front 4 gromets overlapping, they cannot pass each other. The problem with this for surfing is when paddling thru waves the force of the wave will rip them down a bit in the back if not tight on the waist. They also have an inner liner which I don't see in boardshorts, but I'm fine with that. Still great shorts for pool relaxing, paddleboarding flat water. Phenomenal price, Speedo quality, happy with purchase.

Good Comfortable Fit

The Large size fit well. My waist is 33/34, stand at 6ft., and at 200lbs. Very comfortable boxer-type inner mesh. Accommodating crotch space. Spacious pockets. Would recommend. Bought during online Flash Sale. Shipped fast. Thank you Macy's.

The description is wrong on the Macys website. Says it has a back zipper pocket and it does not have any back pocket!
