Great Outdoor Shoe

These have been my favorite shoe year round. Totally wore a pair out and jumped right into another pair. Great waterproof, true to size, and easy to get into.

meh....

I ordered these for gardening shoes. In the mud, standing on a shovel, digging holes kind of gardening. I read all the reviews, ordered a 9.5M, I usually wear 10M. The length is great, but my heel is not stable, it slips around when walking as the back of the shoe is a little wide, from the instep area back to the heel. I wasnt very concerned, but I wore them in the house for about 30 minutes to check them out. The ball of the foot has NO cushion. The heel does have some, but it's likely because there's a slight heel and the sole is rubbery. My left heel is already starting to get sore, like I've been in shoes without cushioning for hours. Probably from the heel sliding around with each step. Since I don't want a misstep from shoes that might slip around while I'm stepping on a shovel to dig a hole, they will need to go back. Too bad, I always wanted cute duck shoes.

Great rain shoes and daily wear in Fall/winter

Very comfortable, great colour combo, well made, keep feet warm, not sweaty

Terrible purchase

I expect better from Sperry. The gore of the shoe has exposed stitching that pokes hard at my foot. These are going back ASAP

Love the comfort go down one size to fit

I just received my new Sperry’s today. I want to thank everyone for their reviews because it helped me to take a chance in buying them with the hopes they would fit. In a perfect world, I would be buying 11-1/2 shoes. Size 12 are way too big, size 11 is usually too small. Many of you said these shoes run big, and you were right! I tried them on with two pair of socks, they are still a little big but I can still wear them, I’ll just buy thick socks. If going to keep an eye out for size 10-1/2 in another color, but I do love the comfort of these shoes and they will get great use at work when I have to do a lot of daily outdoor / indoor walking. Note: I notice that when I go to tie the shoes, they don’t pull together as close, thus, it is likely the reason for a looser fit. Perhaps they are designed with the intention of wearing thicker socks.
