Sweet Dreams
Took about a week to get use to my new mattress. It felt much too soft at first, but I slowly got used to it and then started to look forward to bedtime! Trouble is now I have a hard time getting out of bed in the morning. It cradles my body in all the right places and eases painful muscles. I am 86 and have a bad shoulder. My old mattress was 25 years old and I was afraid to buy a new one in case I didn’t like it. I knew Sterns and Foster had a great reputation so I reluctantly made the purchase. Every morning I am so glad I did. I love my new mattress!

Quality and comfortable product
My old mattress was about 25 years old. I was always afraid of buying a new one that I wouldn’t like it and let’s be real. They are expensive and a major purchase. The first night I slept on my Sterns and Foster, I had a hard time turning and sleeping. It felt too soft, but by the end of the week I fell in love! It cushions my 86 year old body in just the right places. I just wish I had bought it sooner.

Soft but Supportive
It was difficult to find a mattress that was supportive while still being soft and comfortable, but we finally found it with this mattress! Many of the mattresses we tried either seemed like they'd sag in the middle eventually or felt hard as a rock. This mattress had the balance we were looking for as side sleepers. As with any mattress, expect it to be a little on the firmer side until it's broken in. Ours has been steadily softening towards how it felt when we tested it in the store.

Unusable after 1yr
Unfortunately after 3 months our mattress started sagging in the center on both sides. Stearns recommended that we rotate the bed and "the indentations will even out over time." We then rotated our mattress every 4 months and one year later the mattress is unusable. I only weigh 125lbs and my husband is 165lbs. We have a steel base with rigid cross bracing. They would not warranty the bed due to the slats not being 3" wide.

Sagging after 3 months
The firstKing mattress sagged where each of us slept after 3 months (180# each). Got replacement and this also has sagged and results in uncomfortable sleeping. Feels like sleeping in a hammock. Sterns and Foster will not help as we bought from "Mattress Firm". So I guess they dont care about their reputation or quality of this product. I am extremely unhappy with my $ 3000 purchase.

The medium firmness is suportive all night long without being too firm. Very happy with this mattress!

Comfortable mattress
This mattress is very comfortable. We had tried a Temperpedic mattress but was unhappy with it to due excessive heat from the memory foam. Also the edges did not supply the necessary support we were used to. The Stearns and Foster mattress provides the edge support we love and adjusts comfortably on our adjustable bed base. The mattress gives great support for us as older adults. We also find this mattress to craddle us but not hold excessive amounts of heat which provides for a better night rest.

Sleeping Better Already
Last night was my first night sleeping on my new Stearns & Foster Mattress and I am already sleeping better. I have severe hip pain on my left side and found that moving around on this new mattress is quite a bit less painful than on my old mattress. I have a Queen 14" Mattress and it is quite heavy to lift when making up the bed.
