I needed a quality firm mattress, because I have spinal stenosis. This mattress is just what the doctor ordered. No more tossing and turning at night. I sleep like on baby on this mattress. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

We tried 2 different bed models from a different manufacture and for us, they were so uncomfortable from the first night, and only got worse each night. There was no way we could keep either of these beds and returned them. We decided to move to different bed maker. After reading the reviews for S& F, it sounded too good to be true. We went ahead and ordered Sterns and foster, Lux estate soft pillow top, and we have had unbelievable sleep, since the first night. No "breaking in required." Ordered directly from Stearns and foster online. No hassle, delivery, and received it in less than 2.5 weeks. Great quality and even signed by bed maker. To me, that shows they really care. The only problem now is that it is so comfortable, we don't want to get up. Good problem to have!! We are so happy.

It is too squishy and is far from firm. It is also extremely hot to sleep on. It cannot be flipped, however we do, because the side without the foam is more comfortable and less hot. In short, you'd be better off financially and loads more comfortable buying a futon and sleeping on that. This mattress has changed my life by causing me to wake up every morning with a backache. I haven't had a good night's sleep since we purchased it. I am tired, achy and grumpy. There is absolutely nothing to love about this mattress. Don't be a fool! Save your hard earned money and spend it elsewhere!!!

A vast improvement! I'm so glad that I went with a more expensive mattress. Very comfortable. I wake up feeling refreshed. I can't wait to get back in bed. Quality is outstanding.

The firmness gives me the support I need for my back, and the pillow top gives me the softness I need to cushion my shoulders and hips while I sleep on my side.
