1. Found it too firm for me though I tried it in store. Had to add a foam top. 2. The mechanism that raises it seems to not work well sometimes - does not move at all at foot some times. No longer use foot at all and head only fairly low.

After being recommended this mattress through an in-store evaluation machine, I ended up purchasing it online instead. I’m so glad I did. It’s incredibly comfortable, and the biggest difference is that I no longer wake up sore. Supportive without feeling too firm (or too soft),and it’s made a noticeable improvement in how I feel in the mornings.

Poor quality
This very expensive mattress is lopsided and has a dip after 4 months. Another reviewer indicated it's like sleeping in a hammock and that is EXACTLY on point. This occurred just outside of the 3 month replacement warranty. After dealing with a million picture requirements, my appeal for replacement was rejected because the indentation was not "deep enough." It is literally like rolling downhill from one side to the other. Memory foam is supposed to rebound, but it doesn't in this mattress. If uploads were allowed, I would have uploaded a picture with my level showing how lopsided it has become. I previously had a S&F matress for 10+ years. I'm so disappointed in this new one and will not purchase this brand again. Oh and it cannot be easily rotated since it is super heavy.

So far this is the best mattress we have bought !
I have back and neck issues and comfort has been really hard to find. We have bought several mattresses the past few years and so far this has been the best mattress for me by far!! I love that it hasn’t sagged and I am sleeping through the night not waking up in the mornings in pain.

Finally good sleep
After a handful of issues with multiple mattresses, I am back to Stearns and Foster and getting a good night's sleep. I love that it feels as though I am sleeping on clouds. The materials are high-quality and provide comfort every night.

So far, all is well!
One week in, and so far, the mattress is plenty firm while being soft enough for my joints. Good compromise for my spouse and I. Looking forward to some good sleep...

Expected Quality
Shortly after sleeping on this product the pillow top thread started to pull out. We contacted support and received the complete run around with not a thing solved. We bought this item 4/6/22, mod 525128, made in Md. (or so the tag states). This mattress is hot to sleep, when you can sleep. This mattress is 4 yrs old and we are considering throwing in garbage and buying another brand.

Not a good product
We purchased our mattress about a year ago. At first it was fine but within 4 to 6 months it started to show indents where we sleep. Now a year later it’s just awful. We try smoothing it out but that is extremely difficult, if not impossible to do. My husband is going to call the company today, I do hope he has a positive response.
