Stratus Rectangle Coffee Table, Created for Macy's
Product details
Web ID: 2854292Gorgeous and well crafted
This table is stunning. It is high-quality - the base doesn’t shake or rattle at all. I can’t comment on whether the glass stays put as we left it off for baby proofing purposes.
Substantial and stylish
Gorgeous. It looks much more expensive than the price suggests, and the marble top has movement in shades of gray and dove white.
Glass shattered
We liked this table but the glass bottom completely shattered today. It did not have much weight on it and happened out of the blue. Had a hard time also getting a non-damaged table to begin with.
Sleek and Modern coffee table
First time purchasing furniture through Macys. I was impressed with this collection(purchased the end table too) except for the glass shelf moving on the bottom. I do check the glass regularly to see if it slides out of place. This coffee table is heavy, sleek and modern looking. We do not place any liquids on the table though.
stratus
I want to buy this coffee table but how do i know that they issues have been fixed.
Great table but glass slips
I have the end tables and they look great but I have had to get pads to keep the glass in place and it looks odd. Please let us know if they fix this problem as I would love to buy the coffee table.

Poor Design
he table is made of what appears to be nice, durable materials. However, the design is very poor. The marble isn't sealed, so it will stain pretty quickly if you have coffee, grease, or red wine without a coaster. Also, the glass isn't held in place with anything. It just sits on top of a few rubber bumpers on top of the horizontal tube steel members running from leg to leg. I don't understand why the horizontal supports weren't made out of a bent metal piece or angle instead--this would have been more cost effective to manufacture, but also more functional to hold the glass in place. The glass bottom already slipped out a few times, luckily it didn't break. But both times were a huge surprise since nothing was even touching the glass, not even my feet. I've had to secure it down into place with some industrial adhesive (which I will periodically check). I would say that the table looks nice, but it's really just a show piece. It has nothing too fancy and it lacks some thought in its final design.
