WHAT'S NOT TO LOVE?

It's fun to watch. I use it as a nite light on my desk. This was one of those frivolous gifts to myself. It was on sale, I had coupons and plenti points that made the purchase even more awesome. Would buy again as a gift for someone.

Young Scientist Fun

I bought this for my (30+) year old son and he loved it! Worked perfectly. He uses it as a night light. He is a Physicist but still likes fun things. My daughter went and bought one for her boyfriend. Highly Recommend!

Super Cool but........

Bulb is made from paper thin glass and magnet is very strong. So my bulb broke too. I am also looking for a replacement bulb.

Great but bulb broke

The lamp is very cool. I was able to get the bulb to levitate. The magnet is very strong and I broke the bulb trying to find the sweet spot on the board. The bulb should have been designed with a thicker glass vs paper thin. So now the lamp is no good - I’m trying to find a replacement bulb...

Super cool

I love this thing. I got it to work from the first try despite the other people's reviews. You just follow the instructions. I wonder how long it lasts though, but so far it's a cool addition to my nightstand.

Definitely love it

I really like the product. It does take a couple tires to get it to work, but when it does, voila, it is a really cool product! I am giving it 4 stars because it could take a few tries to get it right, otherwise.

It Does Work, But it's Frustrating

The quality of this product is acceptable, but not great. The "filament" of the bulb is awkward looking. The construction of the base and the bulb is good. After reading the previous review, I was skeptical of this item. Upon arrival I unboxed and try my hand at making the lightbulb levitate. After a few unsuccessful attempts I read the instructions. Pro tip: If you don't succeed in make the bulb levitation within 5-10 minutes, take a break. The magnets heat up and it becomes harder successfully levitate

Pretty Cool!

I bought this as a Christmas gift but had to try it out myself. The magnet is very strong! What is not shown in the photo is the piece of cork with n/s/e/w star symbol on it. Bulb will not levitate without that. It's kind of ugly. I flipped it over. The photo should show the cork so you know what you're getting. Over all I'm happy and I am sure that the recipient will love it.
