Great, versatile shoes but weird sizing

These are great summer shoes for people who dislike wearing sandals and who also work in an office and need something more elegant. Can be worn with both dresses and jeans. The sizing is very off. I am a size 8 or 8 1/2 but from these shoes, I needed to but size 7
