Too long; ordering in petite

I'm 5'5' and these were about 4 inches too long to wear with flats or sneakers. I bought black and they don't have that funky copper penny smell that so many black jeans have. I will order my size in petite to see if they are the right length so I can avoid expense of having these shortened. The fabric is a big stiff but should soften with a wash or two.

Hips too slim/straight

I hope that Macy’s will keep trying to perfect this style and fit. Because I have several iterations of their Style & Company jeans, I know that the cut and fit varies a lot. They need to cut fewer pattern pieces at a time and control the quality!! It’s so hard to find a mid rise jean with straight legs! The only problem with these jeans is that the hip width was too tight and emphasized “hip dips”. This cut would be better on a man. I’m not even classically curvy, and these jeans were still too narrow on the hips.

NOT White

I bought these because I have several pairs of Charter Club jeans and capris that fit me great and are white. These are NOT white and they fit funny. Wish they would bring Charter Club style back.
