Stop the Summer Slide
This book is an excellent resource to prevent summer learning loss. The activities can be completed in less than 15 minutes a day so students won't resent taking time from their schedule to review. The activities cover a wide range of skills. I especially loved the flash cards, reward stickers, and certificate of completion that is included in the book.

A very helpful resource for both students and parents!
Wow! This is an all-inclusive resource to direct your parents to when they ask, as they often do, how they can help their children retain what they’ve learned over the summer. The daily activity pages include all of the key math, science, social studies, and language arts skills for second graders going into third grade. I’m very impressed with the amount of information and parent support on what parents can do to prevent learning loss over the summer. It provides parents great ideas for ways to encourage summer reading with a recommended book list of both fiction and nonfiction titles, and even includes a daily pacing with monthly goals and word lists! The included math and language flashcards are an added bonus too!
